HOMONYMS!!!!!!

I am really interested in language and word play, so my photos are made up of homonyms. These are words that are spelled differently but sound the same, like "ball" and "bawl". In the first picture, Charlotte has a plate on her head, and her hair is plaited (braided). She has rings on her fingers as she is wringing out the towel. And she is hearing something from the X that marks 'here'.
Emil is peeing with a abowl of peas next to him, and his shirt is full of holes while a Holy crucifix is on top of the toilet paper roll on the sink.

  1. wow I really like how almost every item is placed for a purpose and has it's own special meaning with another item. It's like a mystery/puzzle I have to solve, matching homonyms. That's probably why I enjoy it, cause I like puzzles :)

  2. I really enjoy the composition of the first one. Both are nice however I would like to see things like the peas maybe a little more illuminated. I think it is sufficient so if you cant re-shoot then I wouldn't worry about it but just an idea. I think you have a good concept.

  3. I really like this concept a lot, and you carried out the first picture great. The guy is a little dark for me on the second one.

  4. I think your photos are working great and I enjoy decoding them. However, I would like to see the cross more

  5. Your concept is really fun and playful. However, the homonyms are more obvious in the first image. I feel the crucifix blends in with the mirror, so the viewer misses the point of the shirt filled with holes.

  6. The second image the crucifix is not that clear, with the first maybe burn in the shirt some more since it seems very white and a lot of information is lost in it. Your concept is interesting however i am bad with words and i probally wouldnt notice these things if this was just shown to me only when you point it out do i realize.
