The 1A I find beeter than the 1B because of the lighting in 1A I can see more detail of the entire scene. The first one the dog is a little washed out in light maybe burning the dog some more? Lol burning the dog i don't mean literally of course, though that would be interesting, no im not saying do it. But yeah these are interesting and since i am a dog lover these pictures have a significance that maybe others won't have. I have a dog and im biased towards how i will react just letting you know.
V reply to Jarrod's comment: These are just preliminaries. I like the higher contrast ones myself. I have other sets for this series shot, just need to develop and print.
I like the concept you have going. I would maybe like to see some other elements added to the composition maybe. As far as the technical qualities, I enjoy the contrast of the last one the most. As you said they are preliminaries, so just keep going with it, it is looking good thus far.

ReplyDeleteIt is kinda sad the expression of the dog, it's like your forcing him/her to just lay there and it is sad because him/her just wants to play with you.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy these photos. I think the concept is very interesting and, matched with the others that I've seen, will make a very nice study.
ReplyDeleteTechnically, while I prefer the contrast of the last image, I think the top two match better. Perhaps you could work on "2" to complement "1A"?
