So this is Princess Lolly from candy land. She lives in the Lollipop Forest which i drew in chalk on the back ground to kinda make this seem like she came out of a child's drawing of the game. She is really young looking in comparison to all the other characters, so i wanted my model to be doing the child like poses and playing with the lollipops.
I think I like the last one the best. The first one is ok but kind of weird with the lolli pops on her face. I just dont like how she is looking directly at the camera for the second one. I think you have a good concept. You could up the contrast on them a little bit.
ReplyDeletek fergus! i think it would be cool to draw a larger landscape in the back to kind of put these characters into a more mystical place. maybe you could think about drawing an entire candyland world in the back and taking less focus off the person and more on this mystical place??
ReplyDeleteThis person is very scary to me i dont know why but just olike ah this is very creepy to me. Like reminds me of a crazy lady trying to poison you and that. The idea of candy land i dont really associate with these indivdual images yes i see the lolli pops but i dont get the candy land idea probally will when i see the series. But in terms of some tech things i really do not see a true white and contrast could be upped since i see mostly greys without a true black.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the Candy Land characters getting out into the real world and relating their images to the instructions on the spaces of the game board? I definitely need something more than a vague drawing on the wall. If you stick with the drawing, it needs to be more pronounced. Right now it's too light and you'll need to get more lights on your subject. Isn't she supposed to be a villain? You could take her out to the botanical gardens and use the bamboo forest as a good background.
