What artist(s) have had an influence on your work?

Welcome!

Welcome, my students, to your class blog.

This site is to be used as an open forum where you will critique each others' ideas and images. Since we will only meet once a week, it will be hard for me to monitor your progress through each assignment. So, you will scan either your prints or your negatives and post them here along with your artist statement, or a general description of your concept. I will comment on the work as will your fellow students with constructive criticism. I may even post my own work for you guys to tear apart ;). I would like at least 3 images and some kind of statement by the second week of the assignment. You will receive 5 points towards your assignment grade and this will count towards your participation grade.

I will also post artists and their works that are good examples of your future assignments, artists that I enjoy so that you know where I'm coming from, pertinent information to your education, and the standings in Sam's Stupendous Sweepstakes!™. The sweepstakes will be explained next Wednesday.

I believe that is all, if not then I'll add more!

See you on Wednesday.
